Poster Session
S01 Soil PhysicsWhen modeling flow and transport processes, soils are often viewed as random heterogeneous media. But, soil forming processes are more likely to lead to spatially connected pathways. This poster session examines modeling, laboratory, and field investigations into the influence of connected pathways on flow and transport in soils on scales from root holes, to fractures, to buried channels.
