88 Symposium--Application of Soil Physics to Resolving Environmental Problems: Honoring the Impact of Martinus Th. Van Genuchten: I

Oral Session
S01 Soil Physics
Soil physicists as a group want to reach out to other disciplines to learn about their needs for applying soil physics to their problems and the problems facing humanity as a whole. As an offshoot of this endeavor, we hope to increase the relevance of our work as soil physicists and to increase our impact. This proposed symposium, by drawing attention to soil physics as part of the solution to diverse environmental problems, well increase our visibility, and lend credence to our discipline.
