Abstract:

The objective of this study was to evaluate feed values of common vetch lines grown in Mid-North of Anatolia. Four common vetch lines were seeded for two years in winter season at Tokat and Amasya locations in Turkey. The research was designed according to randomized block design with three replicates. Common vetch lines seeds’crude protein (CP), amino acids (AA), Acid detergent fiber (ADF), Neutral detergent fiber (NDF), crude fat, ash and In vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) variables were determined. The data were analyzed with MSTAT statistical program. Common vetch lines seeds’ CP (19.34 - 32.88 %), ADF (8.85 - 12.48 %), NDF (31.85 - 53.34 %) and crude fat (0.24 - 3.53 %) were found to be different.
