Abstract:
A new freshman course was developed specifically to introduce new students to the wide realm of agricultural and food systems across Washington and nationally, as well as to introduce them to food and agriculture at the university itself.  The course is a required first-semester 3credit requirement in the new cross-departmental B.S. in Agricultural and Food Systems.
