Seven commonly-occurring PPCPs were investigated using batch incubation methods under simulated conditions to evaluate partition coefficients (Kd and KOC), and degradation half-lives (T1/2). Three wetlands soils (0-15 cm) were collected from the San Diego Creek/Newport Bay watershed. Soil properties such as textural composition, organic carbon content (OC), microbial biomass, pH, and cation exchange capacity (CEC) were determined using standard methods. Samples were incubated over 112 days and the partitioning and degradation was measured at several time during the experiment. Results will be presented.
