Greenhouse gas emissions (N2O, CO2 and CH4,) were measured from corn-soybean plots amended with different rates of liquid swine manure, and in the presence or absence of a rye winter cover crop. Emission measurements include two periods: 1) from October 2005 (cover crop and manure applications) to end of April 2006 when the cover crop was killed, and 2) from May to October 2006 during vegetation of the subsequent corn crop. Effects of applied treatments are presented and discuss in the context of seasonal fluxes, cumulative GHGs emission and Global Warming Potential.
