Oral Session

SSSA Division: Forest, Range & Wildland Soils

The image of soil in visual, written, and oral forms of art has a history long and rich. This half-day session seeks presentations to discuss novel ways that soils are featured in the arts. Presentations are particularly sought that discuss how art has influenced teaching, research, or communicating soil science, or about how artistic expression can help broaden society's appreciation of Earth’s soil.
