The purpose of this session is for SSSA members to understand the Global Soil Partnership and its mission and vision.  Maintaining healthy soils required for feeding the growing population of the world and meeting their needs for biomass (energy), fiber, fodder, and other products can only be ensured through a strong partnership. The Global Soil partnership was instrumental in getting the International Year of Soil established by the U.N.
