Oral Session
S11 Soils & Environmental QualityPhytoremediation has changed over the past 30 years of research, including chnages in contaminants, species, and remediation objectives. The goal of this session is to explore the usefulness of various plant based techniques to address current and emerging environmental problems. This session focuses on summarizing the major accomplishments of past; discuss current and emerging research applications; and highlight potential advances and weaknesses of various plant based remediation techniques.
