Irrigation is an important component of crop production in the Southeastern Coastal Plain. In cotton, irrigation method has been shown to affect fruit distribution on the plant. We investigated in-season aspects of yield dynamics in 4 cotton cultivars in Camilla, Georgia and Dawson, Georgia. Drip irrigation increased maturity rates of the cotton cultivars without decreasing yield.
