Making connections is what helps advance our professional careers and promote and enhance our scientific research efforts. Networking and furthering links to our professional peers and larger audiences can give researchers in the fields of soil, crop, and agronomic science a venue for meeting those goals. Learning to use social networking applications such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs can help research scientists with both communication tasks and career enhancement. This session outlines the efforts of ASA-CSSA-SSSA in social media applications. Participants at this presentation will learn about the impact these social networking applications are having on the communication of science and research.
