244 Wetland Indicators: Methodology and Regional Issues

Poster Session
S10 Wetland Soils
Wetland delineations involve the use of indicators (hydrology, vegetation and soils) that vary depending upon the methods of determination and the region in which they exist. This session will explore regional issues and applications of wetland indicators. With the Army Corps of Engineers recent development of regional supplements to the 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual, there is renewed interest in the use of morphology based indicators throughout the US.
