Putting Green Potassium Input.

Potassium is the second mineral nutrient in quantity next to nitrogen applied to turfgrasses and soil K deficiency limits the turf quality. This study analyzed the past years of soil tests results of putting greens on potassium of six golf courses in South Carolina to draw a conclusion that potassium plays significant roles in putting green quality control.  The study also demonstrated the quantification of K input corresponding with soil and tissue tests in the southeastern states.
