Variation in gene expression underlies the phenotypic differences in traits of interest to crop improvement. New sequencing technologies are revolutionizing the depth and scale of information obtained in RNA profiling studies. This symposium will present recent advances in applying RNA profiling studies to improving economically important traits in crop plant.
