Oral Session

Z01 Z Series Special Sessions Members are invited to participate in an important SSSA Town Hall Meeting held during the Annual Meetings in San Antonio on Oct 16, 4-5:30pm, Room 217A of the Convention Center. Over the past year, several efforts have been underway aimed at examining the organization of SSSA as well as how we conduct our annual meetings and interact with our early career members and practicing professionals. Examples include a summit held specifically for the purpose of obtaining input from graduate student and early career members, the formation and activities of an SSSA Reorganization Task Force, the circulation of a white paper originating from division S-1 on SSSA issues, and conducting a survey to solicit member input. The purpose of the Town Hall Meeting is to update members on current activities and to solicit additional input on possible changes in SSSA. All members are invited and encouraged to participate.
