27 Symposium--Genomic Selection Based on High Density Marker Data

C01 Crop Breeding & Genetics The goal of this symposium is to explore the use of high density molecular marker systems, including SNPs and genotyping by sequencing, in genomic selection to enhance genetic gain for quantitative traits. Practical approaches to model building and prediction in cultivar development programs will be discussed.
