213 Interdisciplinary Environmental Quality Issues In the Tropics

Poster Session
ASA Section: Environmental Quality This session would welcome both agronomic research and research that crosses the boundaries of traditional disciplines to address environmental problems, propose working models, or frame field or community projects in the tropics. Areas of special interest include (but are not limited to): environmental issues in tropical cropping systems, grazing lands, forage-livestock systems, aquaculture, and forestry; Island resource issues in the tropics; tropical coastal and wetlands management; tropical environmental health and human impacts; ecotourism and park management in the tropics; and environmentally sound rural development.
