Planting date, maturity group (MG) and row spacing may affect soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] growth and yields. The objective of this project was to evaluate the influences of late planting date and row spacing on yield of MG VII and VIII soybeans at Clemson University, Edisto Research and Education Center (REC) and Pee Dee REC. Each location consisted of four planting dates (once every week starting in mid-June, two Maturity Groups (MG) (MG VII and VIII) soybeans, and two row spacings (drilled narrow 19 cm row spacing and wide either 76 or 96 cm row spacing). Grain yields were affected by interaction of MG by planting method at one location and planting date and row spacing at another location.
