We generally consider seed treatments as seed applied pesticides. There are seed applied products that provide other benefits besides pathogen or predator control. Such benefits might include water control in the seed zone, prime placement for nutrients, sizing for precise spacing, various kinds of growth promoters, priming, or pelleting technology.
