60 Symposium--Footprints of Genetic Progress: Looking Back

Oral Session
C01 Crop Breeding & Genetics
On the 25-year anniversary of a similar symposium last offered by CSSA, a current status check will be provided for on-farm gains and true genetic gains for yield in several key crops. Two key supplements of this "looking back" symposium will be offered in complementary symposia sponsored by C7 and C8. Each will take a "forward look" at emerging technologies and available genetic diversity to ensure future, and possibly greater, genetic gains.
Cosponsor(s):

C07 Genomics, Molecular Genetics & Biotechnology, C08 Plant Genetic Resources
