Division A-9, Professional Practitioners.

Professional Practitioners (A09). Division A09 was created to provide a forum to discuss issues in agriculture and natural resources and to provide advanced continuing education programs. A09 is a relatively new Agronomy division where "Practicing Practioners" can learn and grow and is a place "certified" professionals can call home. For 2009 at the Pittsburg ASA-CSSA-SSSA annual meetings, we have one symposium across two days on the impact of Applications for Plant Health and Agronomic Perspective. These are arranged with three brief 15-minute presentations, then 45 minutes of panel discussion. Tuesday afternoon just ahead of the business meeting at 1:30 PM will be a presentation on Precision BMPs for Agronomy – An International Perspective. A poster session with authors in attendance from 4-6PM is held Tuesday afternoon on Delivering Quality Continuing Education to Practicing Professionals.
