Abstract:
Development and evaluation of agricultural practices that mitigate climate change will benefit from the integration of modeling and field research. We evaluated dryland farming systems in the Pacific Northwest with respect to CO2e using a combination of field research and modeling approaches.  We share our experiences over the last 5 years that have led to the development of agricultural mitigation practices and decision aids.
