The widespread adoption of glyphosate-resistant crops has greatly affected the weed management strategies used by growers in corn, soybeans, and cotton.  The effectiveness of glyphosate in these crops allows for effective control of many weeds, but there have been negative aspects to the resulting overreliance on a single herbicide and oversimplification of weed management programs.
