The members of the Field and Furrow Club at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign value educating the young students in our community. In order to do so, we participate in Farm Safety Day Camp and Agriculture in the Classroom. Both educational events bring college students face to face with younger elementary school students. Through a fun, educational setting we teach the students about agriculture safety, science and employment. These programs foster an enjoyment for education and give elementary students an opportunity to learn about their own future in agriculture.
