The NCSU Agronomy Club poster contest entry, titled "Recruiting Traditional and Non-Traditonal Agronomy Students into Agronomy Programs", will detail the club activities and programs recently initiated in order to boost club and department enrollment. To combat the decreasing number of students entering the Agronomy department at NCSU, the Agronomy club plans to implement high school visits, produce a DVD demonstrating career opportunities within the major, and to host several on campus recruiting events. The poster will focus on the cumulative effort and ultimate success of these recruitment activities.
