The winter survival and spring green-up of two winter hardy bermudagrass cultivars were evaluated at The Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Research Facility, Columbus, OH as affected by four cover treatments and three potassium levels. All covers significantly improved rate of spring green-up and percent cover. Potassium rate did not affect winter survival or spring green-up. Fall color retention did not extend beyond early October.
