In the spring of 2002, a field experiment was initiated at Burneyville in cooperation with the Oklahoma State University Plant and Soil Science Department. This trial is established in a long-term bermudagrass pasture that has intermittently been used for grazing. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications. The objective of this experiment is to see the changes in soil fertility levels with time and fertilizer rates. We expect that a minimum of 3 to 5 years will be required to assess basic trends for differing levels of organic C. Nitrogen, The fertilizer rates showed significant diffrences on the forage yield.
