A research project was designed to determine P pool sizes (fractions of P) in representative agronomic Texas soils that had been incubated at selected P levels. Common soil test phosphorus extracts were used to determine any relationship between different P pools and the extractants. Additionally, soil physical/chemical properties were evaluated to determine any relationships with them and the P pool sizes. This work will allow the prediction of the fate of applied P as affected by soil properties and time. Additional data will follow.
